All Atlas Cross Sport trims offer a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder that outputs 235 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. And if that's not enough, most trims offer the option of a 3.6 L that boosts horsepower to 276 and torque to 266 lb-ft. Both are paired to a state-of-the-art 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Santa Fe offers one type of powertrain per trim, so drivers have to upgrade entire models to gain access to their preferred powertrain. Some trims include a 2.5L four-cylinder that peaks at 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. With a load of cargo and friends or family, that could become a challenge. The Santa Fe also has a turbo that actually outputs slightly more horsepower than the Cross Sport's V6, but it is only available in two trims, including the top grade.

The Cross Sport is also versatile and full of volume for cargo and passengers. Put the rear seats down for over 2,200 litres of cargo capacity. The Santa Fe is more compact in the same configuration, offering a reduced 2,041 litres. Extra space in the in the Cross Sport provides an open environment that makes trips more relaxing.
